Wow it has been several weeks since I last posted and I have been very busy. We went out of town to visit family last weekend and this past week has been hectic with a family emergency, but thankfully everything is fine. When we went away for the weekend to visit family, I had a large weight gain at my weigh in and I wasn’t surprised because we went out to eat a lot.
So after that weigh in I was determined to stay on track all week. And I did really, really well. On Thursday I got a call that my mom was in the hospital, so I had to drive my dad to the hospital almost 2 hours away from me, but I still managed to stay within my points. The next few days I went back to the hospital and brought snacks with me to help me stay on track. I am really proud of myself for staying on track despite the stress and worry. Thankfully my mom was released on Saturday since they didn’t find anything wrong with her.
Yesterday I went to work out at the gym since I missed Friday’s workout and I will not be able to work out on Tuesday this week. I have a doctor’s appt with the new ENT doctor on Tuesday so I will be traveling two hours away for that. I plan to stay within my points and not go too crazy while I’m on the road but I do plan to use some weeklies so that I can indulge a little bit. I am hoping to get some answers at this appointment, but we shall see.
I know my weigh in today will be really good and I am proud of that. I am hoping to keep up this momentum and have losses for the next several weeks, since we will be having family pictures taken on September 8th. So I am going to work really hard, stay within my points and work out as much as I can. Hope you all have a great week!
