This week has been really great for me. I have really gotten my mindset back in the game and have stayed on track all week. I have also worked out 4 days this week. I won’t be able to work out because I don’t have anyone to watch my daughter this morning so I can work out and my husband will be working in the field after he gets off work today. Harvest is almost done, so I’m really looking forward to that. This is the latest harvest they have ever had, and unfortunately some of the crops are not going to be harvested this year because they are too wet. So it has not been a good year for farming and that is discouraging but it is nothing we can control.
So I am very positive about tomorrow’s weigh-in and I know that I will have a decent loss. That will be very nice to have since I had been off track for a while and my weight seemed to be going up. So I am glad that the weight is moving down again and I am on the right track again.
One thing that has helped me to stay on track this week is continuously reminding myself of the big picture and what I want to accomplish. Reminding myself that going out to eat and ordering anything and everything isn’t going to help get me to my goal. And the moment where I am craving a specific food will eventually pass.
Another thing that has really helped is tracking everything and being on the green plan makes it so much better because I have more daily points to work with. So once I track my breakfast, lunch and supper, I still have quite a few points left that I can use for snacks and that makes me less likely to go over my points. So this week I have had multiple snacks each day that has helped me to not feel so deprived.
Also this week I took my kids to McDonald’s for lunch one day and I ordered a McDouble which was 13sp and I didn’t go over my points that day. On the old plan, that would have been half of my daily points and I would have likely gone over my points. So I am really proud of myself for making good choices this week and I am actually looking forward to my weigh-in tomorrow.
