This past week I have been sick and so I’ve been miserable and usually when this happens, my poor eating habits creep back in and I eat horribly. Unfortunately that happened again this time, but I am feeling better and I got rid of the junk food that I had in the house and made a plan for the week and I am sticking to it. So far this week I have been doing well and I’m hoping that I by the time I weigh in on Saturday, that I won’t have too much of a gain.
I know that February was not a good month for me and this Saturday will be my last weigh in for the month so I will probably have a significant gain this month, but I’m not going to let that stop me from continuing on and working towards my goals. I’m considering this month a huge bump in the road on my weight loss journey, but I’m determined to make March a really good month so I need to go into March with a positive attitude and a plan to stay on track, as well as a plan for when I do go out to eat and not letting that turn into a weekend of eating whatever I want.
Another thing about this week is that Lent is starting so I have to keep that in mind when planning meals and come up with more ideas for lunches. During Lent I tend to stick to tuna sandwiches and fish tacos for lunch and veggie pizza for supper on Fridays. But that is going to get old so I need some new ideas for vegetarian lunches to make.
Since I have been sick I haven’t worked out on my treadmill so I am going to get back to doing that today. I did have a goal to work out 6 days a week but I’ve realized it’s not entirely realistic so I’m going to move that down to 5 days a week. It’s a lot easier for me to get a workout in during the mornings when my son is at school so I’m going to stick with that plan for now and I feel like if I can at least work out 5 days, then that will definitely help boost my weight loss.
So I have a good plan for this week and I’m hoping that my weigh in on Saturday won’t be too bad, but we will just have to see. I will accept whatever it is and move on from there.
